Assesment Criteria
Each choir will be assessed on a 100-point scale based on the following criteria :
- (A) Intonation : singing in tune with good pitch accuracy
- (B) Rhythmic Sense : singing with good rhythm and accentuation
- (C) Voice Production & Vocal Quality : singing with proper and healthy technique, good blending within and between sections
- (D) Expression, Interpretation & Style : proper attention to the style of the music, phrasering, language and diction, dynamics etc
- (E) Artistic Impression : overall impression and program building, including the variety and difficulty of the pieces selected
Criteria A-D will be assessed for each pieces. Criteria E will be assessed for the whole performance.
Example

Penalty
Penalty will be given for performance that violates the singing time rule. The total point will be deducted by 1 point for each 60 seconds breach of the time limit, rounded up to the nearest 60 seconds.
