Assesment Criteria

Each choir will be assessed on a 100-point scale based on the following criteria :

• (A) Intonation
• (B) Fidelity to the Score
• (C) Interpretation
• (D) Vocal Quality
• (E) Overall Artistic Impression

Criteria A-C will be assessed for each pieces. Criteria D & E will be assessed for the whole performance.

Example

Penalty

Penalty will be given for performance that violates the singing time rule. The total point will be deducted by 3 point for each 10 seconds breach of the time limit.

Example

The time limit for category V3 is 12 minutes.

Participant A performance time is 12 minutes, 11 seconds (11 seconds excess time). Therefore his / her overall mark will be deducted by 6 points.
